2024 Happenings

We thought we would be more settled by now.
Instead we are finding this liminal season becoming
the norm. Some ups, some downs. More life
changes. Moments of clarity and of doubt.

We don’t always get to do what we most want or
feel most competent at, because we are also
building ways to support ourselves and networking
to continue to work in community. Overall, we are
grateful for the adventures in our new chapter.

We have our families, work, and our church circles
that offer friendship, encouragement, and
connection points to meet new neighbors and make
new friends.

We don’t do theatre all the time like we did in
Rosebud, but we are continuing to offer our voice
and passion for story and storytelling.

In the midst of working for other organizations
and finding our way, we are continuing to produce
our own projects to offer our voice and passion for
story and storytelling. We hope our story resounds
with you and inspires you to share yours as well.

Finding Our Way as Canadian Oregonians

Quick Trip: back in the Great White North!

What a treat to get to go back to our old stomping
grounds in Rosebud, Alberta and participate in a
concert version of Terry Bachynski’s new musical
Dream. Jeany and David had workshopped the
musical last year and were delighted to step into the
shoes of the “hero”, Gram, and the “villain”, Charlie
Mueller, once again.

They enjoyed getting to connect with Rosebuddies
and be in rehearsal with Morris and Luke Ertman and
share this heart warming story with audiences for
four performances

Not bad for two weeks, including getting a second
Spring and amazing northern lights
